I’m a proud graduate of Magnet Cove High School! I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Henderson State University in 1998 and a Masters of Education in School Counseling in 2008.  

I taught at Magnet Cove for 14 years from 1998-2012, beginning in preschool, moving to 2^nd grade, then 3^rd grade, and ending with math in 6^th-8^th grades. Then I moved into counseling and spent 4 years at MCHS.  For the past 10 years, I have worked exclusively with grades 5-8 at another district, but am happy to have returned ‘home’ to a counseling position with Magnet Cove Middle and High Schools this year.   

Besides spending the majority of my professional life in the Magnet Cove School District, my husband, Robert, has coached and taught here for 28 years.  Both our daughters attended Magnet Cove from kindergarten through 12^th grade, and we now have three grandchildren who are Panthers as well.
